Prince Rupert, Port Edward: Heavy rain tonight and Sunday. Hazards: - Difficult driving conditions due to rapidly accumulation snow. - Icing from freezing rain may result in slippery surfaces. - Rain on snow may result in water pooling and localised flooding. Additional information: Another frontal system is arriving this evening, with rain expected for Prince Rupert, and snow along Highway 16 east of Rainbow Summit. With further warming overnight, heavy snow may transition to freezing rain then rain along Highway 16. This frontal system will bring heavy rain and strong winds to the coastal areas, including Prince Rupert, tonight and Sunday. ### Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
