Location: western Cape Breton including the Highlands. Time span: Tapering to flurries Friday morning. Remarks: highest snowfall amounts are likely over higher terrain. This system is likely to be accompanied by gusty winds and blowing snow over exposed areas. ### Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Locations: north facing shorlines of eastern Nova Scotia. Time span: 2 P.M to 6 P.M. Friday. Remarks: Storm surge and minor coastal flooding is possible along shorelines exposed to the north, especially around high tide. Water levels will begin to subside Friday evening, but high waves will persist through Friday night before easing by Saturday morning.
