snow squall warning in effect Snow squalls expected to continue. Hazards: Total snowfall accumulations of 15 to 30 cm. Peak snowfall rates near 5 cm per hour. Significantly reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow. Timing: Continuing into Sunday afternoon. Discussion: Snow squalls along and in the wake of a cold front will continue into Sunday morning before weakening to flurries in the afternoon. Blowing snow is also expected in many areas with westerly winds gusting up to 70 km/h. ### Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Road closures are possible.
