freezing rain warning in effect A period of freezing rain is expected. What: Up to 5 millimetres of ice accretion. When: Overnight Friday night until Saturday morning. Where: Areas of Mistissini, Route du Nord and, to a lesser extent, Chibougamau-Chapais. Additional information: Temperatures will significantly exceed the freezing mark on Saturday, which will melt the ice accretion. ### Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
