This warning is in effect for parts of the coast due to the following hazard(s): Moderate storm surge. Higher than normal water levels. Locations: western Bay of Chaleur. Maximum wave heights: 2 to 3 metres, breaking upon approach to shore. Time span: thursday afternoon and evening near high tide. High tide: 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Thursday. Remarks: large waves and pounding surf will produce higher than normal water levels along the coast, especially near high tide. ### Flooding is possible along the coastline. Coastal erosion is possible in vulnerable areas. The combination of surge and waves may cause damage along the coast.
