This may cause local inundation where river channels are filled with ice and because of frozen ground. It also may cause ice drift in streams, with subsequent local inundation. Friday afternoon and evening, locally strong wind gusts at 30-35 m/s from southwest, and storm force 10 at the coast. Friday evening, veering west. The wind will increase first in Moere og Romsdal and Troendelag, and decrease last in Nordland. Larger loose items may be taken by the wind. Cancelled departures for ferry, plane, or other transport expected. Bridges may be closed. High waves may cause damage to infrastructure and buildings in the coastal zone.
