Locally strong wind gusts around 27-35 m/s are expected from south to southwest and violent storm at the coast. The wind will increase first in Sogn og Fjordane, and decrease last in Trøndelag. Loose items may be taken by the wind. Possibly cancelled departures for ferry, plane, or other transport. Bridges may be closed. Some journeys may have longer travel times. The power supply may be impacted, due to tree(s) falling over. Some roads may be closed due to trees or other objects in the road. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads. High waves may cause damage to infrastructure and buildings in the coastal zone. Secure loose objects. Close windows and doors tightly. Make sure that gutters, scaffolding, aerials and tarpaulins are securely attached. Avoid unnecessary journeys to exposed places. Follow advice and check status from transport operators. Check road reports (175.no). Be careful in coastal areas. In advance consider measures to limit damage.

There is risk of glaze ice, due to transition to mild weather in South Norway Monday. In West- and Mid Norway rain freezing on cold ground is expected. Local driving conditions may become difficult. Transport services may be impacted. Icy conditions. Be alert; ice may be difficult to see. Consider wearing traction cleats. Allow extra time for transportation and driving.
