snowfall warning in effect Significant snowfall Thursday night into Friday morning. What: Total snowfall accumulations of 15 cm, with local amounts near 25 cm possible. Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour. Reduced visibility in heavy snow. When: Thursday evening to Friday morning. Additional information: An Alberta clipper will bring snow, heavy at times, to northwestern Ontario. The highest snowfall amounts are likely over areas of higher terrain, especially near Thunder Bay. ### Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
