Additional snow accumulations through Tuesday of 18 to 30 inches in most persistent snows. The greatest additional accumulations will be across Chautauqua and western portions of Cattaraugus county. * WHERE...Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 PM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Visibilities will occasionally drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel will be very difficult with deep snow cover on roads and very poor visibility. Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities. Submit snow reports through our website or social media. Consider delaying travel. If you must travel, drive with extreme caution. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially cautious on hills or when making turns.
