VERY HEAVY SURF which may lead to localised damage and coastal erosion is likely to develop about exposed coasts between Ulladulla and Broken Bay during Thursday, extending north to Seal Rocks Thursday evening and to Smoky Cape during Friday. These conditions are likely to persist into Saturday north of Port Hacking. Beach conditions in these areas could be dangerous and people should stay well away from the surf and surf exposed areas. Locations which may be affected include Port Kembla, Wollongong, Sydney, Terrigal, Norah Head, Newcastle, and Port Macquarie. A separate Hazardous Surf Warning has also been issued.
