snowfall warning in effect Another Round of Heavy Snow Where: Prince George, Stuart-Nechako, Quesnel (especially near the Cariboo Mountains), McGregor, Williston, Pine Pass When: Tonight through Sunday What: Snowfall accumulations of 5 to 15 cm Remarks: A Pacific frontal system will bring snowfall to parts of BC central interior tonight, with accumulations ranging from 5 to 15 cm expected by Sunday. There is also a risk of brief, localized freezing rain on Sunday and possibly Monday morning in central interior regions. Prepare for slippery surfaces and challenging travel conditions. A warming trend will begin Monday, with freezing levels rising to 2000–2500 metres. Melting snow may result in messy outdoor conditions early next week following several days of heavy snowfall. ### Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
