Remarks: A strong Pacific frontal system is approaching the BC coast today. Ahead of the front, strong southeast winds 90 km/h gusting to 110 will develop over Haida Gwaii and North Vancouver Island this afternoon. These winds are expected to ease late this evening as the front weakens. ### Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may result in power outages and fallen tree branches.
