Total freezing rain amounts: near 5 mm, locally higher amounts possible. Freezing rain duration: approximately 4 hours. Time span: late Saturday afternoon to Saturday evening. Remarks: The freezing rain will be preceded by several hours of snow and ice pellets. For the Gros Morne region, the freezing rain will mostly be confined to higher elevations along the highway leading to Deer Lake. ### Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
