Time span: early Sunday morning until Monday morning. Remarks: Snow is expected to begin over eastern Newfoundland early Sunday morning and spread northwestward across the island through the day. Snowfall and rainfall amounts will vary considerably depending on elevation and proximity to the coast. There have been coastal flooding, wind, rainfall, and winter storm warnings issued for many areas of Newfoundland. However, due to the continued uncertainty with respect to the storm track, there exists the potential for additional warnings to be required.
