Remarks: In the wake of the recent heavy snowfall, strong west to northwesterly winds will develop this morning and persist into Saturday. These winds combined with the fresh snowfall will likely give extensive blowing and drifting snow. ### Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.
