Possibly significant rainfall amounts along with temperatures above the freezing mark are expected Wednesday through Thursday morning. Water is likely to accumulate on roads and elsewhere on the ground. A significant rise in the flow and water level of some rivers and streams is expected. In addition, winds associated with this system will be strong at times. Small, loose objects could be blown away or tossed. Finally, a sudden drop in temperatures Thursday morning could lead to a flash freeze or a sudden freeze of standing water on roads and surfaces.
