In addition, winds associated with this system will be strong to high locally, especially along the coastline. Loose objects could be carried away or moved. The combination of high tides and strong southeasterly winds could produce breaking waves over the Eastern Gaspé Peninsula, Anticosti and the North Shore between Port-Cartier and Natashquan. Finally, a rapid drop in temperatures on Thursday could lead to sudden freezing of various surfaces.
