The combination - of strong winds from the east - of a moderate to high surge set-up - a medium tidal range may produce breaking sea conditions along the coast Thursday afternoon for the areas extending from Pointe-des-Monts to Sept-Îles. Buildings located in areas vulnerable to storm surge may be flooded. ### Flooding is possible along the coastline. Coastal erosion is possible in vulnerable areas. The combination of surge and waves may cause impacts well inland.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
