Westerly winds of 70 to 90 kilometres per hour are expected until Saturday, giving reduced visibilities in blowing snow. Where: The Lower St. Lawrence and the Gaspé Peninsula. Additional information: a new low pressure system will track toward the province of Quebec this weekend as it intensifies. Significant snowfall amounts, strong winds and blowing snow are possible on Monday. ### Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
