Falling snow combined with southeast winds up to 40 gusting 60 km/h are producing areas of near zero visibility in blowing snow. Conditions continue to deteriorate as the snow and wind spread southeast through the rest of the day. Conditions will begin to improve this evening in the west and Saturday morning in eastern areas. ### Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.
