An Arctic ridge of high pressure will settle in over southern Saskatchewan this evening giving way to cold temperatures for parts of the southern Prairies and northern grain belt overnight tonight and early Saturday morning. Air temperatures will dip towards minus 30 tonight and combine with winds up to 15 km/h leading to very cold windchill temperatures near minus 40. Conditions will gradually improve Saturday morning. ### Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.
