fog advisory in effect Dense fog continues over much of the Prairies tonight along a warm front pushing northeast into the eastern Prairies. Fog is thinning out along the western edge the warm front and will continue to erode into the overnight period in eastern Saskatchewan. Fog will continue over southern Manitoba and persist overnight before eroding Tuesday morning. There are some regions with good visibility within the fog advisory area, however, these are transient in nature. Motorists should be prepared to deal with areas of near-zero visibility, even if conditions at the moment are good. In addition, the fog will likely lead to slippery driving conditions. Motorists should be prepared for this as well. ### Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility. Fog advisories are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to [email protected] or tweet reports using #SKStorm. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.
