It is expected very heavy snowfall with locally 30-60 cm in 24 hours. The precipitation will at times come as rain at the coast. Vulnerable infrastructure can be affected by large accumulations of snow. Travel time may increase on many journeys. Driving conditions can be hazardous. The power supply may be impacted. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads. Vulnerable installations and objects should be protected. Consider whether the journey is necessary. Allow a lot of extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. Follow advice and check status from transport operators. Check road reports (175.no). The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.
