30-60 cm of snow is expected during a 24h-period on Monday and Tuesday. Even more than 60 cm is expected locally. The snow limit height will be at around 700-1000 meters and strong winds will cause blowing snow. Vulnerable infrastructure can be affected due to accumulation of snow. Travel time may increase on some journeys. Local driving conditions may become difficult. Blowing snow at higher altitudes causes reduced visibility and possibly convoys and/or closed roads. Vulnerable installations and objects should be protected. Allow some extra time for transportation and driving. Use tires fit for winter conditions and use caution while driving. The need for emergency preparedness shall be assessed continuously by emergency response actors.

From Tuesday forenoon local blowing snow is expected on mountain roads due to strong wind and snow above 800-1000 m. This can give difficult driving conditions. Reduced visibility. Local driving conditions may become difficult due to snow accumulating on the road. Expect convoys and/or closed roads on short notice. Allow extra time for transportation and driving.
