Severe Thunderstorms Localized flooding of susceptible roads, low-lying areas and bridges. Localised damages to informal houses or structures (roofs) over an open area. Large amounts of small hail over an open area. Disruption of services due to power surges. Avoid crossing flooded roads and swollen streams. Where rising water levels are observed, move to high grounds. When outdoor during lightning activity: immediately get out and away from ponds, lakes and other bodies of water, never shelter under an isolated tree and stay away from objects that conduct electricity (barbed wire fences, power lines, etc).
