Heavy Rain Risk Area The easterly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the upper country is weakening while the westerly trough move pass the North, the upper Northeast of Thailand and upper Laos with less rains and isolated rains in the upper country. Meanwhile, the moderate to rather strong high-pressure system covers the Northeast and the South China Sea with cool in the morning in the North and the Northeast. The rather strong northeast monsoon and easterly wind prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated heavy rains in the South(east coast). The rather strong wind force the wave in the lower Gulf up to 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the upper Gulf and offshore in the Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to changeable weather. Farmers should prevent for crops damage. People in the South should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.
