Dense Fog Advisory issued November 13 at 7:12PM AKST until November 14 at 11:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK * WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog. * WHERE...Matanuska Valley. * WHEN...Until 11 AM AKST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Fog will be most widespread from the Parks Highway southward, including areas along and west of Knik Arm as well as the Glenn Highway corridor through the Palmer Hay Flats. A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Also, be alert for frost on bridge decks and roadways causing slippery conditions.
