Special Weather Statement issued November 15 at 4:39AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK A slow moving storm system will bring periods of light to moderate snow to the Mat-Su Valleys Friday morning through Sunday morning. 3 to 6 inches of snow is possible for most locations, with the highest snow totals likely around Willow and Palmer. For locations in the Susitna Valley, the steadier snowfall is likely to fall this morning and again Saturday morning. For the Matanuska Valley, the steadier snow is likely to fall Saturday morning and again Sunday morning. The snow will taper off from west to east through Sunday morning.
