Special Weather Statement issued November 15 at 4:39AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK A slow moving storm system will bring periods of light to moderate snow to the Anchorage Bowl Friday morning through Sunday morning. 3 to 6 inches of snow is possible for lower elevations of Anchorage with 5 to 10 inches possible for the Anchorage Hillside and Eagle River. For most locations, the steadier snowfall is likely to fall Friday morning through Saturday afternoon. The snow will taper off from west to east, with snow showers lingering along the Upper Hillside through Sunday morning.
