Special Weather Statement issued November 15 at 4:39AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK A slow moving storm system will bring periods of light to moderate snow to the Western Kenai Peninsula Friday morning through Sunday morning. An additional 2 to 6 inches of snow is possible for most locations, with the highest snow totals likely in the Kenai and Soldotna areas. For most locations, the steadier snowfall is likely to fall Friday morning through Saturday morning. The snow will taper off from west to east, with snow showers possible along the higher terrain into Sunday morning.
