Special Weather Statement issued November 14 at 1:40PM AKST by NWS Juneau AK Given warmer temperatures at sea level Thursday there is higher confidence that most precip Friday will fall as rain. The exception will be rate driven snowfall as the front moves across the Icy Strait corridor Friday morning. If rates are high enough we could see 1 to 2 inches of heavy/wet snow fall before the transition to all rain.
