AVALANCHE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM MONDAY TO 5 PM TUESDAY *WHAT A potent storm with strong winds and heavy snow will result in very dangerous avalanche conditions developing late on Monday. *WHERE Front Range mountains and the mountains of Summit County *WHEN Expect dangerous avalanche conditions to begin on Monday evening and last through Tuesday *IMPACTS Large and dangerous avalanches will be easy to trigger. Large avalanches will run naturally. *PRECAUTION/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS Travel in backcountry avalanche terrain is not recommended from Monday evening through Tuesday.
