Exercise caution handling any potential ignition sources, including machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Any fires that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly. This forecast takes into account weather, fuel, and land conditions, and was developed in coordination with Connecticut fire and land management officials and neighboring National Weather Service forecast offices.
