If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.

Marine Weather Statement issued September 21 at 8:18AM EDT by NWS Miami FL The areas affected include... Biscayne Bay... Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM... At 818 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a shower, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This shower was located near Port Everglades, or near Hallandale. The shower was nearly stationary. Waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on the alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.
