Flood Watch issued January 31 at 10:28AM CST until January 31 at 3:00PM CST by NWS Quad Cities IA IL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff from widespread rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Bureau, Henderson, Henry IL, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, Warren and Whiteside, Iowa, including the following areas, Des Moines, Henry IA, Jefferson, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington, and northeast Missouri, including the following areas, Clark and Scotland. * WHEN...Until 3 PM CST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Light to moderate rain will continue through the late morning to early afternoon. An axis of 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is expected within portions of the watch area.
