Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 24 at 4:09AM EDT until September 25 at 12:00PM EDT by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Charles and King George Counties. * WHEN...Until noon EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Island and docks near Dahlgren. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 8:36 AM and 9:13 PM. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 9:52 AM and 10:08 PM. The next high tide at Indian Head is at 1:46 PM and 2:02 AM. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
