Little Tallahatchie Canal at Etta For the Little Tallahatchie River...including Etta...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Tallahatchie Canal at Etta. * WHEN...Until early Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Extensive cropland flooding is occurring, mainly between State Highway 30 and County Road 46. Water is beginning to cover the unpaved portion of Union County Road 47 near Mud Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CST Wednesday the stage was 23.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 25.5 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
