Winter Storm Warning issued February 18 at 12:37PM CST until February 19 at 9:00AM CST by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches with locally higher amounts possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Missouri. * WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will become slick and hazardous. Travel will be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the commutes this evening and Wednesday morning. Persons should delay all travel if possible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
