For the Extreme Cold Watch, low temperatures of 15 to 35 degrees below zero and dangerously cold wind chills as low as 55 below zero are possible. * WHERE...Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera Counties, Eastern Toole and Liberty Counties, Hill County, and Northern Blaine County. * WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 1 PM MST this afternoon. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from this evening through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While temperatures and subsequent wind chills will moderate some during the daylight hours the prolonged period of wind chills of 20 degrees below zero or colder will add to the stress on people and livestock. Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside.
