Some blowing snow and reduced visibility is also possible with winds gusting 20 to 25 mph to blow the very fluffy snow. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Iowa and southeast Nebraska. * WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will remain relatively light throughout the event, out of the northeast at 5 to 15 MPH with gust up to 20 mph. Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation. Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
