The focus of the worst conditions are expected to be roughly along and west of a line extending from Genoa to Grand Island to Red Cloud, NE to Smith Center and Osborne, KS. The National Weather Service in Hastings has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from noon to 9 PM CDT Thursday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect. * WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 to 20 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly.
