Widespread power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution if you must drive.

Flood Watch issued March 15 at 3:21AM PDT until March 16 at 11:00PM PDT by NWS Medford OR An active storm track will remain over the area through at least early next week. Light to moderate precipitation today through Saturday will cause only minor rises. However, a moist, atmospheric river late Saturday into Sunday will bring periods of very heavy rainfall to the watch area. Rain amounts of 3 to 6 inches are likely during this time frame for the coast, coast ranges and into western Siskiyou County with 1 to 3 inches in the Umpqua Basin and Rogue Valley. Snow levels will rise this weekend to around 5000 to 5500 feet by Sunday and this will lead to some snow melt and increased runoff. * WHAT...Flooding of streams, creeks and rivers, urban areas and areas of poor drainage caused by very heavy rainfall and snowmelt is possible. * WHERE...Portions of northern California, including the following area, Western Siskiyou County and southwest Oregon, including the following areas, Central Douglas County, Curry County Coast, Eastern Curry County and Josephine County, Eastern Douglas County Foothills, Jackson County and South Central Oregon Coast. * WHEN...From this afternoon through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
