Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches possible in the Upper Treasure and Magic Valleys including the Boise metro, 3 to 6 inches in the Lower Treasure Valley, and 6 to 10 inches possible in the mountains, Camas Prairie, and across northern Malheur and Harney Counties. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph causing areas of blowing and drifting snow and whiteout conditions. * WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and west central Idaho and northeast and southeast Oregon. * WHEN...Until 11 AM MST /10 AM PST/ Friday. * IMPACTS...Snow covered roads causing slick conditions combined with blowing snow will cause hazardous conditions. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow, and areas of whiteout conditions possible. Travel not advised. Travel along highways and Interstate 84 could be very difficult.
