Extreme Cold Warning issued February 17 at 9:10PM CST until February 18 at 1:00PM CST by NWS Aberdeen SD * WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills ranging from 35 below to 45 below zero. * WHERE...Hand, Hughes, Hyde, Stanley, and Sully Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CST /noon MST/ Tuesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 45 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water.
