For Saturday, areas south of Interstate 20. * TIMING...For the first Red Flag Warning, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from 10 AM to 9 PM CDT Saturday. * WINDS...West 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. For Saturday, west to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 6 percent today and 15 to 20 percent on Saturday. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels will contribute to extreme fire behavior.

High Wind Warning issued March 14 at 11:39AM CDT until March 14 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX * WHAT...For the Blowing Dust Advisory, visibility between one-quarter and one mile in blowing dust. For the High Wind Warning, west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas. * WHEN...For the Blowing Dust Advisory, until 8 PM CDT this evening. For the High Wind Warning, until 7 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hazardous driving conditions due to reduced visibility. Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. A Blowing Dust Advisory means that blowing dust will lower visibilities to less than a mile, resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. Remember, Pull Aside, Stay Alive. A High Wind Warning means that dangerously strong winds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or higher are expected or occurring. Winds this strong will bring a threat to life and possibly cause property damage. Watch for downed trees and power lines. Secure loose outdoor objects. Expect hazardous driving conditions, especially for high profile vehicles. Caution should also be used if boating on area lakes due to choppy waters.
