For the Ayish Bayou...including San Augustine...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ayish Bayou near San Augustine. * WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Lowland flooding of the heavily wooded floodplain will continue for the next several days. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 AM CST Wednesday the stage was 9.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 12.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.5 feet on 04/07/2018. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
