For the High Wind Watch, northeast winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 mph possible. * WHERE...In New Mexico, Guadalupe Mountains of Eddy County. In Texas, Guadalupe and Delaware Mountains. * WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, until 9 AM MST /10 AM CST/ this morning. For the Extreme Cold Watch, from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning. For the High Wind Watch, from late Monday afternoon through late Monday night. * IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles like campers, vans, and tractor trailers. The cold wind chills as low as 15 to 20 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of freezing temperatures could cause ruptured water pipes. Remain indoors if possible.
