Special Weather Statement issued March 12 at 9:13PM CDT by NWS Shreveport LA At 913 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from over Mansfield to 22 miles south of Huntington, or extending from over Mansfield to 25 miles southeast of Diboll, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mansfield, Milam, Many, San Augustine, Zwolle, Hemphill, Pineland, Converse, Patroon, Rosevine, Bland Lake, Macune, Allen, Oak Grove, Pleasant Hill, Zavalla, Florien, Huxley, South Mansfield and Noble. Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
