Total snow and sleet accumulations from and dusting up to 1 1/2 inches and total ice accumulations up to around one tenth of an inch. * WHERE...I-35 Corridor and Coastal Plains. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Refreezing is expected Tuesday evening. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.
