High Wind Watch issued March 12 at 8:57PM CDT until March 14 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX * WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts 50 to 60 mph possible. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas mainly north of a San Angelo to Brownwood line. * WHEN...From Friday morning through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. A High Wind Watch means that dangerously strong winds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or higher are possible. Winds this strong would bring a threat to life and possibly cause property damage. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this situation. Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to the onset of winds.
